Product Description

“Jagube is one of the many names attributed to the Banisteriopsis Caapi vine, a primary ingredient in the renowned Ayahuasca brew. This term is predominantly used by certain groups, including the Santo Daime communities, primarily located in the Acre region of Brazil. The Puyanawa people prepare this medicinal concoction using the ashes of the vine, a tradition initiated by their tribal leader, the Cacique. They primarily brew the bark of the vine and have recently begun using the wood to produce ashes. The vine is known to imbue the brew with strength and stamina, qualities that are believed to be transferred to their snuff through the ash. The medicine is often fragranced with pixuri leaf, a preferred additive in rapé due to its purifying and uplifting properties.”
